Nimona: A Netflix Film de ND Stevenson

This was a quick fun read, but it was not very memorable for me. The most interesting part to me was the relationship between Blackheart and Goldenloin. I would recommend to anyone who really likes graphic novels.

Lumberjanes. [6], Sink or swim de Shannon Watters

To me this was a lot better than volume 5. I can definitely feel something big coming, hopefully in the next volume and I can’t wait til Dec to get it. Now that there are no new volumes I’ll be sure to get my hands on the single issues asap. Also, I really liked the lore that was used in this volume as I knew a bit about it before going in. Overall, super cute and fun as always!

Lumberjanes de Noelle Stevenson

There were a few things I really enjoyed about this volume, like the critique of the riot grrl movement and the little jokes about mermaid tech, as well as the first issue that explained how the girls met! I wasn’t a fan of the illustration style in chapters 18-20 as much as I was with ch 17. Overall this wasn’t the best that Lumberjanes has to offer, but this volume was still a good message. While I was reading, I couldn’t help but feel like this was kind of a filler arc, so I can’t wait to get back to the real meat of the story soon. Friendship to the max!… (mais)
