CAPTAIN MARVEL: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HERO VOL. 1 de Kelly Sue DeConnick

Un buen modo de introducirse al personaje sin ser una historia de simple presentación. Aprendes todo lo necesario de su personalidad, rivalidades y amistades aderezado con historias lo suficientemente atrapantes. Quizás la que menos es el arco intermedio con el robot gigante marino. Pero aún entonces tienes pequeños destellos de la genialidad y la cabezoneria de Carol Danvers. Ganas de seguir leyendo sobre Captain Marvel.

Seguimos con Capitana Marvel, en general la historia ha ganado en epicidad pero no la he sentido tan cercana como en el volumen 1. Aunque eso no quita que cada vez me esta gustando más el personaje.

Pretty Deadly Volume 1: The Shrike de Kelly Sue DeConnick

Honestly had trouble putting this one down. Great story and visually really striking and immersive. It's pretty ballsy of the publisher to compare it to the Sandman and Preacher series, as it has the soul and wit of neither, but it brings its own guns to the party.

Kelly Thompson teams up with three superstar artists to give a beautiful and enthralling new perspective on the history of the Amazons.

For a long-time Wonder Woman fanboy like me, this is pure catnip: a tribute to all that has come before that also shows why these characters will persist for ages to come.
