This is probably my least favorite book by this author. I can't connect with the story, characters, or role reversals. God knows that I'm trying. Even though this is technically a mediocre rating for this author, her mediocre scores are still better than most others.

I'm glad I didn't start with this series, or I would never have read any of her other books which are amazing. (

He was a former covert operative who was betrayed, he's an alpha sub. Evangeline is a Domme who was attacked and thought she could walk away until she met Branch. Emotional, both of these folks need healing and they are good together. D/s, bondage, voyeurism, anal play
