I'm half way through and enjoying this. The writing is lovely, very straightforward yet conveying well the tensions between the characters. I can tell that Dillon wrote for children and young adults before she wrote for adults.

Just finished. Subtle, understated writing, and such sorrow by the end.

I liked the book, but the tragedy felt a bit telegraphed, and I honestly don't think it will stick with me for long.
