First book: I thought this was by Vivian Vande Velde, but apparently it's not. The book (I read it around 2007) is a young adult book about two teenage girls who are aging backwards. They were part of an experiment decades before, having at that time been quite elderly. The experiment was to reverse aging, but the medicine that was supposed to stop the process at an appropriate time was fatal, so the patients continued to age backwards. At the time of the book, the two teenagers have outlived the doctors in charge of the experiment and probably most of the other patients as well.
The second book is one of the Yang series by Lensey Namioka, but the only thing I remember about it is that the Yang family is invited to a dinner party at an American household. They find the ingesting of raw vegetables disgusting (all vegetables in China must be cooked!), and they make the American family uncomfortable by discussing salaries and money over dinner.
The final book has the name Jubilee in the title; I read it around 2001. It may or may not be Jubilee Journey, but confirmation on this would be appreciated - I remember that the book was about a young African-American girl and took place in relatively modern times. The only detail from the book that I remember was the main character and two of her friends sitting on her bed and chewing gum. One of them was smacking the gum and another girl was complaining about it.
And one more: I read this one in 2006 or 2007, another young adult book. A boy goes back in time to the 1920s?, where he meets an artist and his family. Turns out his mother had been a muse for the artist, though I don't remember how....there was something about a coffee table art book as well; I think that was how the boy first found out about the artist. I remember that he hid in the ice box at some point.

The first book is Turnabout by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Great book!

And I hope you can figure out the other ones too :)

Hi, Susie

You might want to post the other two books each in their own thread, with a descriptive title - lots of people only read the threads they think they can help on, so this could easily be missed. The description on the group home page has some good hints on the best way to do this.

Best of luck!

The second book sounds familiar to me, but it could be just a similar story that I read. Do you remember if the Chinese family pulled the strings out of their celery before eating it? I could be totally on the wrong track, but if this sounds familiar to you, I could try to remember more.
