Is there a book you once read and now cannot remember the name of? This group is here to help you find it.
Many of us only open topics we think we can help with, so your subject line is important for getting the right people to read your post - the ones who probably know your book.
SUBJECT LINE: Please include genre AND a clue i.e. YA Ghost story SciFI Boy lost in space Mystery set in Iceland Poem about a woman's garden Children's series about circus children
Things like 'Help' or 'Find this book' or anything including 'search' are not helpful, and should be avoided.
YOUR POST should include any other information that could help identify the book: Fiction/ Nonfiction Plot When you think it was written or when you read it (10 years ago, about 1970...) Book's intended audience Anything you remember about the title, author, cover or size of book.
It's easier for us to read your message if you use standard spelling and punctuation. New paragraphs now and again help too, if you write several sentences.
Members will read the posts they might have information on and post their suggestions here (so no e-mail addresses, please). The resulting discussion is part of the process. It helps others find the book, and you might also find out about other books that might interest you. BTW, we'd also love to hear whether or not we've found the right book.
