I'm being very generous giving this a 3 stars. I did not like this book at all but maybe that's because I'm not in the age range the target audience for this book falls under. I wasn't much of a reader when I was a kid so I never got around to reading Alice in Wonderland when I was younger. If I had read this book when I was a kid maybe I would have liked it, I don't know. However reading it now, the story didn't interest me at all and the characters were too annoying, especially Alice. ( )

Checking this classic off my summer reading list. Did children love reciting verse once upon a time? Carroll includes so many rhymes that it must have been so. The original illustrations are delightful, and so 3 stars. But I'm sure I was never the intended audience.

Alice in Wonderland was a good read, but not something that kept me hooked on.

For a novel created way back when by Lewis Carroll, I find it to be a wonderful read. The book has good themes that I liked picking out here and there. The novel wasn't action packed, but it is a child's novel and an older novel at that.

I did enjoy the book, but it isn't something I would read over and over for the sake of enjoyment. I enjoyed it though!

I read this book because I have seen many television and movie adaptions of this book and I wanted to read the material all of it was based on.

Very good but not my style, personally.
Two out of five stars. ( )
