I used to land at Scholes Field in Galveston, TX to read/study during my flight training. Lindberg spent time on GLS when it was a military base and I wanted to "channel" him. I used this book all through my training, from Private Pilot up through ATP(SMEL), COMM (SMESea), and "Gold Seal" CFI (IA - ME - LAND and SEA). Filled with notes and underlining. I love this book. Somewhat dated, but still pertinent. Very comprehensive. If you are a student pilot, you will want the current FAA title, "Airplane Flying Handbook". If you are not a pilot, but only want a better understanding of airplanes, flight and flying maneuvers & controls, then this is a very good instructional book. ( )
