A very sweet love rediscovered story with a reasonable amount of heat. I listened to most of this while waiting for an outdoor concert to begin and not really wanting to chat with the people I was with (long hair and Bluetooth earbuds are the best, and who needs a second date anyway.) A fun listen! ( )

Rcvd and ARC at no cost to author.. This book was cute. We meet Hank and Abby who were long lost lovers and haven't seen each other for ten years. Abby had made a decision to break up with Hank, she thought it was in his best interest what she should have done was let him decide, anyhoo too late for that. Of course they both had to go on with their lives and of course Hank, who proclaims that he always loved her did while he became a manwhore (yeah I never get that), and Abby, yes she had relationships also but apparently never got satisfied , Ok that again is something that I don't get , Why I ask you can't she have fun Also. Anyhoo it was entertaining and funny at times and yes we get our HEA. So yes I recommend.. Enjoy! ( )

Hard Crush is a sweet second chance at love story between a high school English teacher and the science geek she broke up with before college. Hank and Abby were absolutely adorable together, and I loved how he was so determined not to take no for an answer the second time around, no matter how equally determined Abby was to resist his charms.

And resist him she did...for as long as she could, anyway. But then she continued to resist an HEA with him for far longer than she really should have, considering the kind of guy Hank kept proving his was, time and time again. I'll admit that I got more than a little exasperated with her, because she kept it going way longer than it seemed it was justified. She explains why, and everything turns out well in the end (more than well--it's a great ending!) but still, it was frustrating to read at times.

Great ending, though--did I mention that? :)
