This is another enjoyable book that I have had the pleasure of reading by Haidji. I enjoyed the story behind it, and it flowed very well. I liked reading about both of the main characters and the backstory behind each one. As I was reading, I felt the story come to life within my own mind. The book is broken up into several short chapters, each one telling its own story. At the end, everything comes together and I was left with a feeling of warm happiness. The story had a sort of floating, calming, dreamy feel to it - I hope that makes sense - and it was relaxing to just get swept away for a few minutes. The book is just over 100 pages, but the story is written in a free verse format with lots of open space, and I read it in way less than an hour. Thanks to Haidji for making her books available on Member Giveaways. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. Life into Mist by HaidjiFrom the back of the book: Life into Mist is a story about life, love, pain and wishes. ...that creates images in a reader's mind, as would each word be a brushstroke inside the paintings of your imagination. Leona's Review: This was a poetic book that made me feel the ocean and her paint brushstrokes. Characters are added all the time and fit into the story. My feelings is that I thought it was the end of one's life but another review thought it was the beginning. I am sure when I re-read Life into Mist, I will see something different. It was somewhat strange to me but easy flowing. I will give it star rating because it was different. I received a complimentary from the author, Haidji, and LibraryThing. Haidji is a writer, artist, painter, designer, photographer, performer. She calls herself "just Haidji". www.haidji.blogspot.com Leona Olson http://www.mnleona.blogspot.com This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. This little book tells a story about love through an almost poetic manner. The author's words actually did paint pictures while describing the love between Perth and girl. An easy and quick read for something a little different. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
