This novella not only gave up some smoking scene’s between Shane and Daisy we also got to tag along on what turned out to be in interesting case.
In this introduction to the new Sugarland Blue series we get to meet the men and women that make up the Sugarland PD who this series will be about. We’ve met Detective Shane Ford in previous Firefighters of Station Five books. He is also the twin of Shea Ford who was the heroine in Line of Fire.
When Shane and Juvenile Detective Daisy Callahan are paired up to work a multiple missing person case the two childhood friends give in to their explosive attraction. Problem is Shane isn’t looking for anything permanent and Daisy who’s always loved Shane wants the picket fence. Once the case is solved Shane pulls the plug on their extracurricular activities which hurts Daisy. This is how we will go into their full length book Sworn to Protect.
This was a great sneak peak at the upcoming series and many of the guys from Station Five made an appearance which was really cool.. Looking forward to reading Shane and Daisy’s full length book in May.
