I really admired the artwork because the main characters' fur was so realistic, I could have almost sworn I could feel its texture by touching it. I enjoyed that there was a funny duck on EVERY page, something that could become a scavenger hunt for kids when reading this book. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Personal Response – This book has colorful and fun illustrations. The story is great for little kids and the lift-the-flap pages are fun and exciting to see what’s behind them. Splat the Cat and his friends are cute and entertaining to read about.
Curricular Connections – This book could be used in an elementary classroom during the spring to help get ready for Easter. They could have the book read to them and then make their own Splat the Cat book or illustrations. First or second graders could also make their own Easter story with illustrations. ( )
