The way that happenings were referenced made me feel like I should known about them (past kidnappings and deaths and such). Anyways, I thought this was a clean adult romance, but it felt more like a middle grade or maybe YA vibe to me. I do like those types of books, but for some reason, I just couldn't get into this one. Titus thinks he & Phoebe will get married. There's one problem: she has not joined the Church. Before she commits to the Amish church, she moves to California to experience the English way of living. Titus moves to another city as well. Since he has joined the church, he starts working in another Amish community. He has never been on his own and encounters several difficult situations in his short time living on his own. He also meets 2 single women and intends to marry 1 of them. Several months later, Phoebe returns from California and takes a bus to the city were Titus in living. Phoebe is intent to marry him. But does Titus still love her?? I have read several of Brunstetter's books and this is a trilogy of hers. I can't wait to read the next installment of this series. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
