Any thoughts on what happened to Kawtch?

He broke his leg very badly trying to get through the opening. I said he better be still standing at the end of this book if Rollins wanted a decent rating. I thought his rating here was quickly losing ground when the Kawtch was hurt.

He did break his leg but at least he was not killed.

I was a little worried when he was wrapped up but I think authors know that killing off an animal character is very unpopular with readers. It's interesting that I didn't feel as stressed out about Gray's mom.

I was concerned that he was hurt but was confident that he would make it through
