What are your thoughts that a group of Israelites travelled to the US in 600 BC?

My first thought was - "How?"

Other than that, we know people came across the land bridge from Russia. It seems a stretch to think the Israelites came the same way.

At first I thought it would have to make sense, but if we are bringing in Biblical Mormon prophecy then it could be explained that way.

In the introduction page of the Book of Mormon it says they traveled by foot and then built a ship to cross the ocean.

I remember the last time we dealt with The Mormon Church in a book. Remember the angel??? Why not?? It makes about as much sense as everything else we accept as "truth". Someone lock the door if that angel shows up again:)
