Sobre Minha Biblioteca
My library includes many volumes about Great Lakes history. I have several books related to Victorian era living. I also own many collectible books no longer in print about the Great Lakes.
About Me
I adopted Michigan as my home state in 1971 after I married a Michigander and left my home state of New York. I began penning novels in 1982 while working full time for an electronics firm in Grand Rapids.

I resigned from my job in 1984 following a contract offer for my first book. Since then, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Zondervan Publishing House, Guideposts, and Bigwater Publishing (my own publishing company) have published my novels. My husband, Fred, a former American History teacher, shares my enthusiasm for history. Together, we visit historical sites, restored villages, museums, and lake ports, purchasing books and reference materials for use in my research.

I have lived all of my life in states bordering on the Great Lakes. My familiarity and fascination with these remarkable inland waters and my residence in the heart of Great Lakes Country at Fayette, Michigan, make me the perfect candidate for writing Great Lakes Romances®, my trademarked series.

In my library you will find some of the books I have written, and find titles by authors from the turn of the twentieth century that I have edited, abridged, or compiled for reprint. All of them are available at http://www.greatlakesromances.com/
