My library is medium-sized serving a population of 17,000 people. Lucky for us we receive a lot of support from the community and the schools. We were voted "Library of the Year" in 1988 by WLA and underwent a huge building project that doubled our size (we renovated the existing building and added additional space for Reference, Teen, and Children's Departments) in 2003.

I'm a Teen and Reference librarian at a medium-sized public library, so often I read more teen-level fiction than adult books. I enjoy reading (obviously), needlework, and gardening. Favorite movie(s)is "Lord of the Rings" and favorite music drifts between the Beatles and Celtic (like Cherish the Ladies and Altan).
