I once had a more diverse range of tastes, but as I get older, and boreder, I'm more inclined to favor American literature from the Gilded Age through the Jazz Age.

Fifth-year PhD student, currently in a 30-week countdown towards completing the first draft of my dissertation--a novel. Although the intention is for it to be a novel of manners with an omniscient point of view, it's already undergone a number of significant changes, most of them arising from the complications of integrating pornography, sibling incest, and a fifteen-year-old's sexual awakening (none of them related).
