Welcome to "The Billie Jackson Library For The Culture". Mrs. Billie Jackson was an alumna of Chico State, earning a BA in English with a minor in Music, a MA degree in Education and a secondary Teaching Creditential. In her time here, she was a part of so many groups and organizations including, The theater community, She was a founding member of the Essence women's group at Chico State, a founding member of the Boys & Girls Club Chico chapter, which continues to serve the many children of our city today, a founding member of the Chico State African American Alumni chapter and a dedicated member of the Bethal AME Church.Billie's commitment to students learning was her passion. It is for this reason that we dedicate this cultural library in her name.

About Me

The CCLC curated a library of inclusive books for CCLC students. We are still accepting donations of gently used or new books. We have created an Amazon wish list with titles we need. Donations can be dropped at the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center in MLIB 172.
