What a chilling little novel that I wanted to be longer! This is my first time with reading this author but not my last! I liked the feisty ex-cop from Portland who decided to become a private investigator and took on a haunted house case that she thought was a joke as it was almost Halloween, but the joke's on her when a ghost appears in front of her!

This is my first book in this series, and I must say that Billie Bly won me. Humorous and interesting, with a plot mixing politics and technology, this is a very interesting reading.

I will be reading more of this series.
