There isn't anything wrong with this show, it just never quite won me over. It feels like it's trying to take over the very specific The WB niche left by Joss Whedon getting Angel cancelled. I didn't particularly like that show, either. I understand this is supposed to get better in a couple seasons, but I'm pretty confident it still wouldn't be for me.
