I only read the Political Science chapter. I appreciated his preference of teaching Intro American Politics as a way to build citizenship skills and attitudes rather than as a way to transmit disciplinary knowledge. I teach the course the same way myself.

I've never taught large lectures like him, but he does have an interesting idea for an in-class simulation that I may wish to tinker with.
