Loved the story and look forward to reading it to my children in December. The way it is set up to read a little everyday leading up to Christmas makes it easier for young children. Some of the concepts and wording may be a little beyond really young ones but once it gets to the Santa Claus and angels part I think they will be quite intrigued.

In Dreams at Dusk, by Scott Roloff, the author brings to the reader an impeccably detailed story about people whose lives have not gone as they had hoped. The characters come together because of the law. Some have broken it, practice it and enforce it. Bad things happen that never should have happened. The characters experience violence, deceit and even a touch of tenderness. The tension and suspense build slowly and the end result remains a mystery up until the end. The story takes many twists and turns and keeps the reader engaged throughout. I found this to be a well written book and I recommend reading it.

Short Stories for the Hopeful and the Weary, by Scott Roloff, consists of four well written stories. The first story, Nicoli's Birthday, is the touching story of an adoption with an unexpected ending. A Lifetime Until Dawn deals with the horror of war. In Saturday's Crossroad the author eloquently tells the story of an unfaithful husband's shocking discovery of his wife's plans. The God and the Devil is the fascinating story of an interview with the devil.
These are interesting stories with depth and packed with emotion. I recommend reading the collection.

I enjoyed this book very much. It is well written and easy to read. I especially like the way it is meant to be read by reading a chapter a day. A great way to teach little ones about Jesus without it being hard for them to understand. I highly recommend this book for all ages. A very unique read.
