Alysin Richman was born on May 19, 1972. She graduated from Wellesley College in 1994 and received a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Lily is the daughter of a wealthy Jewish sheet music businessman. She is a passionate member of women's groups fighting for the end of slavery, and for women's rights.
