Annie plans her own funeral and has five special friends spread her ashes in designated places special to her. A bit sappy, but very descriptive.
This story was boring and repetitive. If the author wanted me to care for any of the characters in the book, that never happened. I only finished it because it was for a book club.
For a book I found deep in a box of books someone gave my mom this book was awesome. So much of it spoke to me. Deeply. The finding yourself as a woman. Being true to yourself. Very good read.
February 2020 - I skimmed my way around in it because I liked the idea of a bunch of people roadtripping around, spreading the ashes of their BFF around the country, but I could not with these women. I have no interest in any of them and their back stories. Let’s re-write it with a bunch of guys.
