On the premises, we left our names behind. Here we were servants, the gods of old, who made the world and now live upon it solely to serve.

A good maiden should always attend to the members’ needs.

With complete honesty, I am not a big fan of books with exposed body parts (?) or too revealing covers, primarily because I've had more bad experiences with books with similar covers than good. But I will say that I'm giving this book a solid 3 stars because the writing was pretty enticing and it kept my attention for the entirety of the book.

I could 100% see the appeal in the submissive/dominant nature of the book, as well as the attendant/master relationship. Honestly, I kind of wanted to know what happened after the scene, like, apart from just the smut, do they get a HEA? (I don't know, I'm a sucker for HEAs.)

If you're a fan of dom/sub or dominant men as authority figures, I'd recommend that you try this one out!

Dirty Daddies by L.M. Mountford

Trio of torrid tales that give a voyeuristic glimpse of three older men and the younger women they spend steamy time with. Some felt almost like prequels of potential romance in the making. All three men are older, know what they want, commanding, and just what the women want…at least in the moment.

THE POLITICIAN: Kora works at an exclusive men’s club that she hopes will provide the income she desperately needs. Catching the eye of “The Senator” is a lot to handle but she is eager to please as he takes her off to make her his personal attendant.

THE BILLIONAIRE: Josh married to help a friend hoping for more than a marriage of convenience but that is all it ever was. After he is widowed, his stepdaughter provides him with a Christmas present he never saw coming...a bit taboo but truly intriguing.

THE DETECTIVE: This was probably my favorite though definitely only the introduction to set the stage for what could prove to be an exciting steamy trilogy or more. I would love to see if Jake and Vickey can find a way to keep Vickey safe, take down Daley, and have a happily ever after together.

It is never specified whether these couples will have a future together but I kind of have the feeling they could. Enjoyed these steamy stories and recommend them to any who might like to try a variety of short erotic stories by this author.

Tequila Sunset by L.M. Mountford

Short, hot, steamy story that sees Cassandra’s fantasy fulfilled out by the pool starring the man she has dreamed about for years. Age-gap lusty tale of a young woman and her BFF’s father hitting it off rather well when alone together and the timing is perfect. We don’t learn a lot about the two who indulge but know they were more than compatible…at least for the afternoon. Both were empowered by the tryst and who knows whether it was a one and done or more might follow…

Sweet Temptations by L.M. Mountford

Two short steamy fantasy stories with a third to follow in the future…can’t wait! I have *no* idea what Richard “Dick” Martin will get up to next but…bet it won’t be vanilla!

What I liked:
* Dick: husband, father, bookkeeper, good at his job, attractive, works with a team in the office, intuitive, perhaps at a crossroads in his life
* Alice: Dick’s wife, mother of their sixteen-month-old son, teacher, loves her family and her job, attractive, perhaps more adventurous than Dick knows
* The fantasy element that sees Dick playing outside the marital boundaries
* Hearing how Dick deals with potential fallout from the decisions he has made
* Wondering what Dick has that has the women swarming around him like bees around honey
* The ability to be just what women seem to want/need
* The steam level – high
* Wondering what will happen next and if there will be any negative fallout from what Dick got up to in the two stories

What I didn’t like:
* Not a dislike but a note…if you are not into infidelity then this is not a book for you. I think it will all work out in the end for everyone but will have to wait and see.
