Very interesting and slightly disturbing book on those parts of human society that have the final word when deciding the fate of the rest of people.

What I especially liked is the fact that author did a lot of investigation and analysis. You will not find any alien-religious-kabal-conspiracy theories in this book but well grounded (and therefore more terrifying) description of power elites (modern aristocracy) who have global influence and effect on the world.
They are everywhere - they circulate through various positions in different areas and gain great level of influence over people, nations and states.
Although they are not above internal squabbles and fights (again with great effect on the rest of the world) their wealth and (inter)family connections keeps them together.
Other thing that keeps them together is united approach against any perceived threat from other classes of society (anything that may cause loss of wealth) - something that working class (both blue-collars and majority of white-collars) is greatly missing.

Highly recommended - I don't know if there is English translation of the book, original is in Italian.… (mais)
