It is emotionally draining to read about how my refugee parents and many other compatriots had to resort to fighting when their backs went against the wall. Serving in the United States Navy, I can only render a hand-salute to all who fought and fell. My people and my country taught me and molded me. One must always be prepared to serve a higher calling than oneself, especially the one we are able to articulate or fathom.

I did not appreciate the how the publisher butchered the spelling of the names in the translation process. Surnames (proper nouns) must always retain their original spelling even when its supporting text is translated.
