I’ve been wanting to read this biography since Mom read it several years ago. I don’t read enough nonfiction books anyway, so when I needed to find a book to fit a reading challenge, this was an easy choice. I enjoyed the story! It was well-written and gripping, and very easy to read. The story itself was inspiring, and despite everything Pat went through, it was encouraging to see hope and faith win out in the end. I can’t imagine facing many of the things she faced—and she had her fair share of “down” days, too!—but in the end, the love of Christ transformed her life. Recommended.… (mais)
