Look, I nearly had to drag myself by the hair through this read. There wasn't a lot about Mary and her life and what it would have been like to be a woman in the period trying to keep your son's legacy alive, but more about Jesus and his mission and the men who wrote about him. There are a couple of modern suggestions that are bounced off and a few that are outright dismissed without too much pause or reflection (and some of the modern ideas probably don't need much reflection anyway.
Probably been very interesting when I was studying Early Christianity but now, I didn't learn anything more.… (mais)
