The Gordon Bennett Trophy race won by Glenn Curtiss. distance race won by Henri Farman with a flight of 110 mi. fastest single lap. Won by Louis Blériot, flying his Type XII monoplane, with a speed of 76.95 kph (47.8 mph). 38 aircraft entered but only 23 flew.
