Relatively brief introductory (114 pages in the main text) information on subject, which is propably(?) relatively little known. On the other hand, book is diving into not just the little known beginning histories of eco-radicalism, but also the philosophical backgrounds and different groups within the realm.

Liddick notes in his conclusion that "radical environmentalism and rights for animals are tough to sell and few people are buying", but also has seen the trouble of interviewing some persons involved and claims to not either favoring or judge the either sides of the phenomenom (the activists/governmental policies). Somehow, I got the feeling that much of the text was somewhat hastily written and phrases like "taking much of the ideologics from Monkey Wrench Gang as their bible" repeated along the way. Also, the fearful scary visions at the end seem to be of weakest merit in the books content.… (mais)
