This book was just about as good as the first. However, it seemed very forced. It didn't have the emotional appeal that the first one had. The amount of grammatical and punctuation errors deterred me, and took away from the mood of the book. If someone enjoyed the first one, he or she has no choice to read the second, but shoulnd't be expecting the amount of climaxes and emotions as the first.

The book has a very good story line. I cried so much towards the end of the book that I could hardly contain myself. The author's writing is a little choppy though. I wasn't too fond of the style, although there were many parts that were written very well. Can't wait to read the sequel!

Very Twilight-y. A lot of the book is tell not show, and the romance plot is not well grounded in the text. A bit more world-building was have benefitted the book as a whole. There are no explanations for anything, which makes it hard to take seriously. Also, 'teenage' supernatural being watching teenage girls sleep. NOT HOT. I won't be reading the sequels.

Maria Hooley has crafted a fantasy that grabs you at page one and holds on to you until the end. Misha has always dreamed of Ramsey, his brother Elijah and their world Alturna. Then she and her mother are involved in a terrible accident that throws her into a coma. When she wakes up from the coma she discovers the dream world with Ramsey and Elijah are entering her real world. She no longer knows what is real and what isn't. However, she is sure of one thing, whether in her dream world or the real world, Elijah wants her dead and Ramsey will do anything to try to protect her.

The scenes are well described and give you the feeling you are in Misha's world experiencing what she has experienced. This was a really good book. Since it says: Book 1, I look forward to the next in this series.

This is not my first book by Mrs. Hooley, and this one did not disappoint. I loved the characters, the sci-fi aspect, the plot and the interwoven pieces of humanity that made it real, such as love and regret. She grabs you from the start, and takes you for journey in all of her books. In this one in particular you are introduced to a world born out of her imagination, yet are drawn to the characters as if they were in your world. I recommend this book highly.
