Like many of the books in this series from Osprey, this is a splendid and profusely-illustrated monograph - and it has an index (hurrah!). One mistake immediately noticed is that HMS Redoubtable in the index should be FS Redoubtable (she was a French ship!).

Nothing special just a fairly basic listing of events with an uncontroversial interpretation. Jone was reckless the battle would have been better with fire support and victory came down to the greater ability of the paras as professional regular soldiers.

Short concise examination of the Iranian Embassy Hostage Negotiations and subsequent storming of the embassy by the SAS. Very interesting were the first hand accounts by SAS members and the hostages, as well as the dialogue by the terrorists. Good light read before I start 'The Day of Battle'.
