A heartbreaking, gut-wrenching read about life on the streets in London. The teenage heroes Romeo and Julian are for differing reasons living rough. The story includes scenes of drug use and prostitution, so definitely not for the faint-hearted.

The word "compelling" might've been invented for this story. It even ends still skidding sideways, I swear. Dark and difficult and twisted, buoyed by Cai's relentless goodness, Loz's clever sweetness and Soph's wit. Nicky is pried out of his despair against his will, just in time for more trouble. It takes place in England.
