Meant for a different, lay audience. For my purposes, insufficiently referenced, claims unsubstantiated, citations omitted. One doesn't doubt the veracity of what is being said here, but cannot use this book as a starting point for deeper research on the topic.
Richard Falk wrote the foreword to this small, but very important book by Marjorie Cohn, expressing his concern about the Bush administration and its defiance of international law. Marjorie Cohn describes six ways of violation and disregard of international and constitutional law by the government. Illegal aggressive warfare, tortue of prisoners, Summary execution and willful killing, the Guantanao Gulag, Spying on American citizens and Refusing to execute the law are examples of the weakening of the rule of law by the White House without respect for the U.S. constitution.
