I am not quite sure where to start. The book was very rushed and only spans the space of a few days. There are all sorts of error in grammar, spelling and punctuation. The most annoying errors however, were the ones within the storyline.

The time line is all screwy (which I would think should be impossible given the fact that this is all over 2-3 days). The motivation for nearly any action taken in this book by any character is nonexistant. Take a moment to let that sink in. I have never once read a book where everything that occurred made me think 'huh? wtf?' and that is how I felt this whole book.

It was a free book but I am still regretting reading it.… (mais)

I did not finish this book and here is why....

Reason number one: 6 pages into the book KJs grandmother FINALLY asks her about a nasty bruise on her face that is just now healing after a month. Why the hell would she wait that long especially since she notice behavioral changes in KJ as well, and is aware that both KJs mother and ex are looking for her and mean her harm. Just so stupid.

Reason number two: 8 pages into the book KJ tells her grandmother that her ex found her and raped her. After asking KJ if she is ok physically- which Kj answers no to- the grandmothers next concern is is she has told Maddison and what the status of their relationship is. Then in all of her old woman wisdom she orders KJ to go call him right now. What that hell?!

Reason number three: After a month of no contact or communication of any kind Maddison has sex with some random chick who just so happens to look exactly like KJ.

At that point I just decided I was done with this book and this author. I usually do not review books that I did not finish, but this is just so past the realm of horrible that I could not help myself.

I did buy this book after reading the first and hating it so I really only have myself to blame, but to be fair the 1st book ended on a massive cliffhanger and I always find it hard to stop a series once started no matter how bad it is. Also, I had the very naive thought that since the first book was so bad there was only room for impovement,, I mean how much worse could it get right? So wrong!… (mais)

I am amazed that it took Sloan so long to notice Aston sheesh she has worked for his dad for the past 8 years! but guess it took her to get to the top before he took note. As Sloan's stalking of Aston started it left a sour taste in my mouth that he was still carrying on with his floozies. He even left her in the middle of the night after a hot steamy juicy sex session and had sex with another chick the next day! It was clear Aston was falling for Sloan even before she admitted it but Sloan was hot and cold so what was she to think. Just when she thought she knew he was returning her feelings he drops a BOMB! Which leads to some misunderstandings on Sloan's end. Now can he get her back? Lots and Lots of juicy sex. Fantastic ending.

Kayla and Madison fall and they fall fast!
Kayla has been thru so much I'm surprised she lets Madison in as fast as he does. Poor Kayla the hits just keep coming. Madison knows he's has to let Kayla go but it's the most heart wrenching thing ever! A few hot sex scenes nothing detailed. Cliff hanger ending. I hope they find their way back to each other sooner rather than later.
