Wilburta Arrowood

A story of a woman's struggle to discover God's love as she fights her longings for hatred and revenge. Margaret Ceradsky has watched her daughter die and now all she wants to do is seek revenge on the man who did this to her daughter. I appreciated the way the author didn't really give you specifics of how or what happened in regards to her daughter dying until the end of the story. Margaret though didn't realize what God had planned for her when she takes a job for a church (she is a seamstress) to repair a big job for them. Pastor Micah, (a widow so you can kind of see where the story is going) is someone that understands Margaret's pain and can help her through her bitterness, grief and anger.

This was a very well written story that touched the heartstrings. Margaret's pain was real, Micah's help was a blessing and the way the Lord works is amazing. The word of God is living and powerful and you see how it changes lives. Without spoiling the story I will just say that the ending was very touching and hard. From the beginning pages to the final one, this book caught my attention and held it all the way through. What a joy to see someone who was bitter and angry and hateful, change into someone and something beautiful. It only happens when forgiveness is given and God is given first place.
