This book is a volume for the new fly tier, or anyone who is going to be tying British flies. The author assumes that the reader knows nothing of tying flies, and through the body of his work he describes what needs to be done to complete every step in constructing various types of flies. He is very thorough and discusses traditional techniques as well as newer styles of tying that still get the job done. Although he does discuss the tying of a few different patterns, he did not intend this work to be just another pattern book. If this is what you're looking for you will be disapointed as this is a purely and well done instructional text.… (mais)
