This book was annoying. I wanted to like it, but it switched back and forth between the present, past, and family/Micah history. Plus, the whole werewolf thing made me want to just stop reading it half way through. It wasn't typical teenage angst, it had no redeeming qualities to me at all. You make the decision on whether she is really a werewolf or just plain crazy at the end. Personally, I don't care. She was not a sympathetic character at all. ( )

This book was exhausting. And ridiculous. I didn't like the main character. I didn't know what to believe. And I never found out. It was just irritating. It was relatively okay for the first half but after the twist I just didn't care. 1.5 stars. I'm sure someone would love this book. But not for me. ( )

Although I liked this book, it wound over and around itself so much that at the end I was left wishing I knew what had really happened. I guess a pathological liar is pretty much the most unreliable narrator ever. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. ( )

Teen fiction. Strange cross between realistic mystery (with unreliable narrator) and science-fiction (supernatural creatures). It might have been better if it were written as one or the other, not both. ( )
