This book is a great book about all the good and bad things that come with being a commander in chief, and also gives facts about each one of the Presidents in each of the pages. With vivid animations, So You Want to Be President engages all students in identifying the Presidents, as well as important qualities that each President should have. I really like this book because it also features biography's of each of the former President's and interesting facts for entertainment. I think this book would be good for 5th and 6th grade history as it is a fun introduction to all the presidents. ( )

This book is a fantastic resource that reviews the qualifications needed to be president, from George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt and Bill Clinton. This book is an excellent resource for elementary and middle school students to begin their journey of civics by learning what is needed to hold the highest office in American government, ( )

So You Want To Be President? by Judith St. George, is a fun book teaching students about past presidents. This book not only lists the presidents, but it also gives fun facts about them. This book would be great in a Social Studies class as a fun introduction to the Presidents, as the students would be more engaged than just reading from a textbook. This book is not up to date as it was published in 2000, so this book could be a great tool for a project for students to research the presidents not listed in the book. Overall I enjoyed this book, and I think it would work great for the middle school grades! ( )
