I loved Volume 1 of this book and boy did Volume 2 just keep going. It picks up immediately where the last book left off and provides some answers to all those cliffhanger moments the lovely Audrey Carlan left us with. So far each of these women has some serious issues in their past, and some intense traumas, that make it hard for them to open up and trust the men in their lives. Joel and Faith have gone to Greece with Eden and his daughter and are experiencing some interesting complications in the realtionship. I have to say they are my least favorite of the couples though. Ruby is forced to decide between Nile and Noah, after some serious and grave situations. Erik and Savannah seem to be hitting it off well and healing each other. And Dakota and Sutton, my favorites, seem to be doing the best. Until Sutton tells Dakota the truth about the feud between their families.
This book had lots of moments were we see each couple grow and develop and give the whole forever thing a real shot. They are getting to know one another as best as can be expected. We still have a few hidden secrets but honestly most things have come to the light at this point. I really don't know what to say but I adore these books and can't wait to read Volume 3 and find out what happens next for the couples. This series is a really intersting concept and I love how vastly different all the couples are. Each of them has a very different reason for deciding to be part of the auction; and honestly I am on the edge of my seat to see who makes it past the contract terms. ( )
