Sweet second chance romance with low angst and mostly internal conflict.

We saw a little premonition that Noah and Del would get book 2, and I am happy they did. I thought Noah was adorable before, but I loved him here. With his heart broken, he was angry and hurt and afraid to see Del after 5 years. When Del turned up with a kid and still in love with Noah, I knew it would be a bumpy ride. Luckily, the angst level was low and the guys worked through their problems rather than let them fester too long. Clarice was an adorable child. I loved these 3 together as a family. Looking forward to the next book.

I liked the premise of the story, because I'm always all about a good second chance love story, and it sounded like it would be good. The problem was that I didn't particularly care for Del all that much. He seems to be a reasonably good dad, but he wasn't necessarily a good son, and I sure wouldn't want him for a boyfriend. I think that Noah gave in to him way too soon. ( )
