Johanna just ran away from making the biggest mistake of her life, marrying the wrong guy. Not only does she leave the alter she leaves town all together. She ends up in Reno where is has a fresh new start. Johanna soon realizes that to make ends meet she is going to have to work that she never thought she would do. On her first day, Cody comes to her rescue.

Cody one believes in one night stands that leave right after the deed is done. One night he is at his regular spot to blow off some steam and get a little buzz, when he spots Johanna. Now all he wants is her anyway he can have her and when the opportunity pops up he holds on with both hands to make sure she does not get away.

Cody and Johanna both thought it would be just one night but it soon turns out to be more. The spend all the time they can together until one day Johanna's dad walks into her place of work. After that one moment everything Cody and Johanna have built starts to crumple. Will they be able to get past what and who are trying to tear them apart?

This is my first time reading anything by this author. I really liked this book. I could not put it down once I started reading it. The flow of the story was on point. The characters were well developed. I can't wait to read what else Kelli has written. I recommend this book to others. ( )
