A subpar crime noir that's all atmosphere and no action. Sarah Dewey is a freelance journalist running low on money as well as a recovering alcoholic in the midst of a divorce and custody battle. Kingpin Wilson Fisk approaches her to help him write his life story to buff his public image . . . and maybe some other things too (wink wink). Since it's noir there are some boxers and some thugs hanging out. Daredevil shows up for half a second to justify his presence on the cover -- unlike Bullseye and Elektra who cannot be bothered.

Tension builds ever so slightly to an ending too abrupt, bloodless and bland to even earn a "That sucks." It doesn't have enough energy to suck or even exhale. It's just a dead rotten fish of an ending laying there and stinking things up. (
