Not my favorite of her books, as the things they were dealing with outside of their relationship were deep, but seemed like they were handled very shallowly. I usually adore her books, but this one just didn't click for me.

Still, it was a fun, if shallow read, and I enjoyed it. ( )

Taylor is a video game playing, computer tech guru and she hasn't the common sense of a bug. She's being stalked by Sig, an guy she met playing some role playing game online. Now she's not happy playing anymore but won't leave because Sig needs her, he's clingy and has made threats to hurt himself if she leaves. UM.....helllo....we have a problem here!
Loch is the 5th in line to the throne of some obscure country and he's so far removed from "the real world"... he doesn't know where to get his socks since someone's always put them, and his clothes for the day, laid out on his bed? He is a billionaire but had no clue how much money has...he just spends for whatever he needs. He is used to spending his days captaining his polo and rugby teams, going to the pub with his friends, and being a flirt. Oh yea, and his brilliant scheme to be able to return home...some hulabaloo about him being moved up the line for the crown....is to marry a totally unacceptable American woman, Taylor. But he doesn't tell her any of this. Hell he doesn't tell her a lot. Oh, and what kind of foreign dignitary comes to the US for up to 3 years with no one.. not even a bodyguard?
See just a little too far fetched for me to get into. But I finished the book hoping that somewhere things would start to make a little sense. Only after he goes home and finds out he's just as shallow and lonely there does he do a little growing up.
I'll just chalk it up to every author has "one of those books" and for me, this is the one. ( )

I am new to the world of Jessica Clare, but if all her stories are as endearing as Taylor and Loch's I just might stick around awhile. Billionaire On the Loose touches the heart with it's message of acceptance and spins dreams for every believer in happily ever afters. You don't have to be perfect to find happiness is an inspiring message that has fallen by the wayside in the world of glamorous movie stars and glitzy magazines. For that alone this story deserves an A .

I must admit I went into the story, not liking Loch's stuffy ways and Taylor at times could be hard to take. However the charm of the story was the differences in the main characters and the positive effects they had on each other. With Billionaire on the Loose, Ms. Clare brought the beauty of fairy tales to modern readers.

I obtained this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review and loved Loch and Taylor's story! Taylor Westfield, a tech support worked from her home in a tiny 400 square foot apartment. She played wars games on line between calls. She didn't get out much after failed attempts at love and when her best friend whined to get her way with being a tour guide from a groomsman at her wedding she sucked it up and agreed.

Loch delle Scoliere didn't want to be in line to become the next king of his country as he wanted to keep his naughty ways of seducing, drinking, and playing polo with his mates. Then the queen decided he needed to go to America for a couple of years until the storm died on his cousin's marriage to an American died down. He was on his on and he was used to servants bending to his every need so how was he supposed to survive on his own in this dirty town called New York? ( )
