I love the Curious George series in general because George has the same curiosity and spirit as a child, which I think makes a lot of these books relatable and enjoyable for kids. George is such a well-developed character who is always causing mischief, but the reader is always fascinated to see what George will be up to next. The plot of the story is silly, and revolves around ice cream which is definitely a crowd favorite. However, there is a conflict when George messes up the big order. While it is not the end of the world, it sends a message to the reader that mistakes can be fixed and sometimes even turned into something better than planned. (

A fun loving story including our favorite monkey. Curious George takes a afternoon visit to an ice cream shop. After making a mess for the owner, Curious George tries to make it up to him. It is a happy-go-lucky story that shows kids the power of teamwork and forgiveness.
