Kaz…an unusual model that seems to have most of the qualities he needs…might just fit the bill. Instant attraction, interesting photo shoots, intimacy on many levels, secrets that are eventually revealed, death threats and more occur in this story before a resolution and happily ever after can be achieved. I liked Kaz’s strength of character, willingness to stand up for herself and her ability to express what she wants. I liked Jake for his strength of character, loyalty and ability to overcome adversity…and he just seemed HOT. The writing was wonderful! Scenes were so well written that all of my senses were engaged and that was true when Kaz and Jake were riding in a car, at a photo shoot, having a meal or engaged in other more adult activities. This is the first book I have read by Kate Douglas but I do look forward to reading many more in the future! With danger on their heels and a past catching up with them, they band together and that makes all the difference.
