What's the Matter, Habibi? is a story of a camel who wanted to feel special because of his hard work everyday. One day he decides not to work and runs off on his own to do what he wants. He runs into town and buys a hat and has the whole town complimenting him. He then feels so happy he gives all the children longer rides. ( ) Everyday, Habibi is happy to do his job of giving rides to little kids but one day, he refuses to. His owner runs after him all day trying to figure out just what’s wrong with Habibi only to find out that he just wanted something special. Lewin’s animated illustrations go perfectly with the light-hearted story she’s written. Habibi is a camel that gives rides to children all day with his owner, Ahmed. One day he simply refuses to continue and when Ahmed cannot figure out what he wants he and ends up running away to have an adventure of his own in the town. Habibi runs all over and ends up getting himself a hat. This is what he wanted. He returns home a much happier camel. It was a funny and cute story for young children. Habibi, the camel, is out of sorts. Ahmed, his owner, is worried, but cannot figure out the problem. Habibi sorts it out on his own, and all is well. It's a slight story, but pleasant and loving, with an interesting exotic background pictured matter-of-factly and Habibi is indeed a very handsome camel. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
