This is series of essays written over a couple of years in the mid 60s when the author made a series of visits to Hiroshima. Its pretty niche, it covers some conferences and splits in the anti nuclear movement in Japan. It's also a little repetitive as the essays cover some of the same ground.

So I'm not sure it entirely works as book. But on the other hand there is some really interesting insight into victims/survivors of the bomb and the medical research being done at that time, and some of the leading figures in Hiroshima in the aftermath of the bomb. ( )
